Professional Driver First Aid
Employers of professional drivers of large goods vehicles and passenger carrying vehicles MUST provide training through courses that are approved by the Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT) to meet Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training requirements.
The Professional Driver First Aid training course is approved by JAUPT and include a minimum of seven hours contact time.
Course length
1 day (7 hours)
Prerequisite
Must be in possession of a driving licence for your specific type of vehicle you drive which must brought to and be valid on the day of the course.
Certification
Professional Driver First Aid Certificate (CRS5726) which is valid for 3 years and is accredited through JAUPT.

Aims of First Aid Scene and Incident Management Casualty Assessment and Communication Cardiac Arrest Unconscious Casualty Choking Shock Wounds and Bleeding Burns Fractures / Dislocations / Sprains and Strains Spinal Injures Heart Attack / Angina
