Guidance from HSE

Previous system versus new system

Owing to the changes in First Aid accreditation affecting all providers of first aid training, candidates attending our first aid courses (as from 1st October 2013) are both trained and assessed by one trainer/assessor throughout the course - rather than undergoing examination with an assessor at the end of the session.

Accreditation Changes

Norvic Training is a Qualsafe Awards accredited trainer centre. We will be delivering first aid qualifications that are accredited by an Ofqual recognised Awarding Organisation from 1st October 2013. Read more about the changes.

Driver CPC

Did you know we are JAUPT approved which means we offer Professional Drivers First Aid (Driver CPC)? Call us for details and to book.

Courses for All

We regularly deliver first aid to all sectors of the community for example; ambulance technicians, nurses, schools staff and Mums and Dads. Whatever your role, whether you are a professional needing first aid in your workplace or a Mum, Dad or Grandparent, first aid can be lifesaving.

Your first aid skills can be lifesavers but like all skills they'll fade if they're not refreshed regularly. And three years between your First Aid at Work training courses is plenty of time for you to forget what to do and when to do it. We're also introducing a monthly first aid refresher course and we'll be contacting you each year to invite you along. It's a half day course, the core is your resuscitation technique and the session will also focus on those skills that you feel need refreshing.

From a three day in-depth first aid at work course to a half day awareness of first aid or even a two hour basic life support there is vast range of information given.

Why Should I Attend AED Training?

Only 6% of cardiac arrest sufferers outside of hospital survive. The chance of survival is 10 times greater when an AED is to hand - talk to us about buying a defibrillator and AED training.

Locations

Training sessions are regularly held at our venues in Norwich and Cambridge. We also offer training at Clients' sites anywhere in the UK.
