Course Aims
To train delegates in the safe and efficient practice of taking a blood sample.
Please note: This course is aimed to teach and develop both knowledge and practical skills. However, competence must be determined in delegate's own workplace under full clinical supervision which participants will need to arrange with their employer.
Suitable For
Any healthcare provider working under supervision in the public or private sector who may be required to take a venous sample of blood from a patient or client as part of their care. This course is ideal for doctors, practice/community nurses and medical support workers.
Course Length
1 day - the course starts at 09:00 and can run through to 16:00 - this finish time will depend on the number of delegates attending and their level of experience - please call if you have further queries concerning this or any other aspect of the training.
Pre-requisite
Delegates must be employed in an environment where this knowledge and skill is required for genuine clinical reasons and evidence of this may be requested on course booking.
Certification
Delegates will receive a Norvic certificate of attendance, which is valid for 1 year.Course Venue
Closed courses are held at training venues throughout East Anglia or alternatively, courses can be arranged at clients' venue anywhere in the UK (subject to suitability).
