Course Aims
To train delegates in the basic knowledge and skills of infection control in a clinical environment.
Suitable For
Any health care provider working in the public or private sector. The course is ideal for registered nurses and health care assistants.
Course Length
1 1/2 hours
Pre-requisite
Generally none, although delegates should be employed in an environment where the need for training in these skills is appropriate.
Certification
All delegates will receive a Norvic certificate of attendance.
Course Venue
Closed courses are held at training venues throughout East Anglia or alternatively, courses can be arranged at your own site anywhere in the UK (subject to suitability)

• The importance of infection control • Universal precautions • Isolation • Use of protective barriers • Minimising the spread of infection • Linen handling • Hand washing (including practical) • Management of clinical waste.
