Course Aims

To raise awareness of the meaning of palliative care, the resources available to care for those who have been diagnosed with a life shortening illness and appropriate techniques to promote a positive, comfortable environment meeting, as far as is possible, the needs and desires of the individual moving toward the end of life

Suitable For

Care workers whose clients have been diagnosed with a life shortening illness or who may at sometime in their  working career have to deal with this situation

Course Length

3 hours

Pre-requisite

Generally none, although delegates should be employed in an environment where the need for training in these skills is appropriate

Certification

All delegates will receive a Norvic certificate of attendance

Course Venue

Courses can be held at our training venues in Norwich, Norfolk and Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. Alternatively, courses can be arranged at your own site anywhere in the UK (subject to suitability).
