Course Aims

To provide delegates with an understanding of who is covered by the term 'vulnerable adult' and the procedures and legislation that relate to safeguarding adults.

Suitable For

Anyone who comes into contact with vulnerable adults during the course of their work.

Certification

Delegates will receive a Norvic certificate of atendance.

Course Venue

Courses can be arranged at clients' own site anywhere in the UK (subject to suitability).

Syllabus

Examples of abuse, signs of abuse, working through senarios, personal factors that may lead to abuse, Mental Capacity Act, order of investigation into cases of abuse accusations, confidentiality and disclosure, what to do if you are aware of abuse.
