Course Aims

Course aims to enable those working within the care sector to handle and administer medication in a safe and effective manner.

Suitable For

Those working in the care sector who may need to handle medications as part of their role or oversee the security, recording and adminstration of medication.

Course Length

3.5 hours


Generally none, although delegates should be employed in an environment where the need for training in these skills is appropriate


All delegates will receive a Norvic certificate of attendance.

Course Venue

Closed courses are held at our venues in Norwich and Cambridge or alternatively, courses can be arranged at clients' own site anywhere in the UK (subject to suitability).


Legislation relating to the control of medication, Security of medication, Types of medication, Routes for administration, Disposal of used medication, Errors and mistakes.
