  Message from Wendy

This year we are excited to be launching a QA Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace. This can be delivered at your own site and we will also offer a calendar of open dates at our centres in Norwich and Cambridge starting in March.

Our team will be delivering more open first aid training courses than ever throughout 2016. We have more sessions running at our Norfolk training centre and, in addition, we have a full calendar of course dates to be held at our Cambridgeshire training centre. We also now offer specialist open courses in moving and handling, phlebotomy, first aid for the mind, suspension trauma and defibrillator training. We will continue to offer our popular care sector specific sessions including our care induction courses

As a response to the new Care Certificate our Care Worker Induction has been updated for this year

"A very informative and enjoyable training session."

We offer all the elements of clinical training that are needed by nurses and carers. This includes some very specialist courses such as an open course in phlebotomy and specific courses such as awareness of dementia. Please call us to discuss your needs and we may well be able to help. Our trainers are highly qualified with a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Closed courses are held at training venues throughout East Anglia or alternatively, courses can be arranged at your own site anywhere in the UK (subject to suitability).

Call us to discuss which of our courses would be best for your needs.

First Aid

"Very good. Felt I have learnt more on this first aid course than others I have attended."

We regularly deliver first aid to all sectors of the community for example; ambulance technicians, nurses, schools staff and Mums and Dads. Whatever your role, whether you are a professional needing first aid in your workplace or a Mum, Dad or Grandparent, first aid can be lifesaving.

Your first aid skills can be lifesavers but like all skills they'll fade if they're not refreshed regularly. And three years between your First Aid at Work training courses is plenty of time for you to forget what to do and when to do it. We deliver a monthly first aid refresher course and we'll be contacting you each year to invite you along. It's a half day course, the core is your resuscitation technique and the session will also focus on those skills that you feel need refreshing.

Health & Safety

"Course very informative and easy to follow - trainer very pleasant and easy to understand"

"Very useful; learnt a lot and very clear"

"Thank you - very interesting and illuminating"

Does your business have a Health and Safety training need? Whether it is a basicawareness of food safety or a QA Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace qualification we can help.

Clients can come to us at one of our venues in Norwich, Norfolk or Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. Alternatively, we will deliver courses at clients' venues across the UK

Call us to discuss which of our courses would be best for your needs.

Moving & Handling

Important to all of us whether we are office-based, doing manual work, or working in a clinical or care home environment, we all have a duty to protect ourselves from harm.  Over one in three injuries that last for three or more days are related to manual handling. Everyone has a duty to look after their own safety and the safety of others at work.
